Urban Meyer releases tweet saying he knew of the 2015 accusations against Zach Smith and reported it to the proper authorities under his obligations under Title IX and his contract.

So basically this means he lied in his press conference at Big 10 media days but did follow all of his protocols.

Which also means OSU knew and did nothing, like I have been saying from the beginning. Yet everyone wants to go after Urban.

Or it’s kind of like JA said yesterday. OSU knew as well, talked to law enforcement and nothing came of it so they left it alone.

Let’s try to keep this thread open. Yes, this board has people that hate anything or anyone associated with OSU, we know that, the entire site knows that. Can we be objective and stay on point for those who want to learn more about the story of the year in CFB?

Or ask the person he reported it to why they didn’t act.

So you a defending someone who allegedly reported said incidents to higher ups and clearly knew about them. Lied to everyone about knowing about them and still kept the guy around knowing all this. If that's the guy you want running your program than so be it. Clearly there are others at fault in this as well, but to defend him like he did the right thing is insanity.

Urban Meyer just admitted: 1. He knew his coach was accused of beating his wife & kept him on staff for three years. 2. His superiors knew his coach was accused of beating his wife & they were okay with keeping him on staff for three years. 3. He lied about knowing this last week

Previously you wanted him fired for not reporting it but if he did report it and his higher ups didn’t act, possibly due to a police investigation with no arrest or charges, why call for Meyer's head?
