Cardinals seemed to dominate this from start to finish.

Watched the last 6 minutes on Prepspin. Knights got it down to 8 at one point. But the Cardinals responded.

Lexington Catholic played about as bad as a team could play for 2.5 quarters. They finally settled in a bit, but it wasn't enough. Scott County didn't exactly play great basketball, but they made a few more shots and got a few more key rebounds (I think the rebound stats were even) and that was enough. Michael Moreno had 20 points and a number of boards for Scott; he was the best player on the floor.

Scott Co played great Defense. In the first half Lex Cath took 14 shots and had 13 turnovers.

Lorenzo Williams and Cooper Robb disrupted the Catholic offense on almost every trip. Moreno is a beast.

Just under 70% for the season. Pretty solid.

Scott Co came out and hit Lex Cath in the mouth both literally and figuratively. I have never seen 2 kids get sent to the locker room for stitches in the first 3 minutes of a game.

By the time Lex Cath settled in it was too late.

10 points from LexCath @ halftime is pretty brutal, not that Scott Co. having 25 by the half was setting the world on fire by any means.

I think everyone expected a much better game by these two teams.
