Original schedule had 4 games each day for the 3 day tournament. What happened? Scoreboard shows all 4 games played on day one, only 3 games on day two and just 2 games yesterday.

Boom Williams to enter NFL Draft
stinkyboy II replied to All State Baseball's topic in College Football
Here's a novel idea -- he stays in school and works toward a degree so he has something to show for the years he spent as a student athlete at UK. Let's call it plan B if the NFL thing doesn't work out -
Michigan takes the lead with under 2 minutes to play. Just needed the kicker to do what he had done 6 times previously in the game. Kick the ball deep into the end zone for a touchback and let their defense finish off the win. Kickoff return changed everything.

The article states that players were suspended during the season for the incident. Police investigated and decided not to charge. Now they are being punished again. Where were the committee members back months ago when this occurred? Anything happen today with the players demands?

Who threw the TD and 2 pt conversion for HHS. JV QB's are Kramer and Schoellman - no Turner that I know of. -

Observations....... HHS did make some changes defensively in the second half. Taylor did move to outside backer. Bowden was moved inside. New played at safety. Grothaus played a bit more at corner. Now the moves did not slow the Colonels down much, but they did get some film to evaluate and maybe make further changes. No two way players as was rumored to be happening. Maybe seeing the success CCH has with this system will help the coaches to pull the trigger on that one. Game plan early on was to huddle and take time off the clock (completely contrary to the hurry up/wear 'em out 2 platoon system that is in place)- which was abandoned after CCH opened up the big lead. HHS actually scored 20 unanswered at one point of the game. HHS was down 35-0 at the 10 minute mark of the 2nd quarter. Final 34 minutes of game action was 28-26 Colonels. This is the same coaching staff that has a state championship, and a semi-finals appearance. Playoff coaching record is 8-1. Time to show the all of us that you can get the best out of this group of boys. Here's to a rematch in Park Hills in 4 weeks. -

34-0 at half. Running clock midway through the third. Dixie multiple interceptions leading to short fields. HHS running the ball after running down the play clock with each play. -

HHS has 4 boys that are first team O and first team D. Schwalbach and MCGuire (both injured) would make that number 6. Five other boys play a lot of snaps on both side of the ball, as one way starter and rotate in at their alternate position. About 22-24 boys rotate in during a game for the Birds. -

Highlands had 2 turnovers on their first 5 plays of the second half. Momentum gone. Resulted in two short field TD's for the Colonels. -

HHS played their best team game of the season against SK. Offensively relied on the pass early and got the running game going late. Hollingsworth completed passes to 6 different receivers. Huddleston is really good at adjusting to the ball in the air. He has really good strong hands. Bowling ran the ball well late. HHS defense played well. A couple of interceptions and several tackles for loss. Nice game by the front 8 - Webster and others played well at LB. Nice job by this group stepping up in the absence of Schwalbach (dislocated elbow) and McGuire (knee) due to injury. SK does full 2 platoon. They are big on both lines. They have nice players. The program is in good shape with this group moving forward. -

The varsity kicker at HHS is a sophomore. Developing a kicker from this grade level is really not that important. Would be nice to have the option to kick in the frosh games, but really not a big deal going forward. -

UK defense gave up 17 points in the first half and 27 in the second half. (- 10 ) UK offense scored 35 points in the first half and ZERO in the second half. (-35 ) Most posts are railing on the defense (it's not good) but all the offense needed to do was make a few first downs, score once or twice and the result would have been different. Seems to me the offense is the side of the ball that let the team down the most in the second half. -

Three penalties at the end of the game that just CAN NOT happen. Roughing the punter. Late hit out of bounds on the last kickoff. Offsides on 4th and 6 on the final drive.
