NewCath highlights vs. CovCath (9th Region Championship)

Good stuff. :thumb:

I love Weyer's double block on AJ Mayer at the :45 mark. That was just nasty, and it put an exclamation point on just how sick all his blocks were throughout the game.

AJ Mayer will be happy to never see Weyer again....he ate everything he threw up.

Anderson's hit some key baskets also that may have been overlooked.

Hall has such a soft shot near the basket.

Great highlights !!! Get that screeching baby under control though !!! LOL

Nice highlights. Weyer definitely dominated this game and the rest of the Breds looked good as well. Hall very smooth and Anderson boys play great defense. Weyer had to have at least 10 blocked shots. Definitely best player in NKY.

Wow! Did not get to see this game live, but I saw a zillion blocks by Weyer. This guy has to make basketball fans appreciate a dominate player on both ends. Great range, high IQ, go to player. OldhanOldie needs to watch this post against #1 in Ky. Rupp is going to escalate his exposure.

Hope the hordes of interest finds him solid to Bellarmine!

This was a fun night of basketball for the Ft. Thomas kids!

Highlands kids or NCC kids from Ft. Thomas?

Both.

Again, congrats to NCC - they were the better team and deserved to win. As for Highlands, whatever. Best of luck Birds.

I answered both because I know Fort Thomas kids.

It was obviously fun for Ben, Eric, Brian, and Logan. Nothing like winning the ninth region championship.

Fun for Highlands kids also - to see their friends win the tournament. These kids have grown up together in Fort Thomas. Played sports with and against each other since they were very young. Families live and work in the community together. Congrats to the Weyer, Anderson, and Neff families. Keep the fun coming.

SBII, it has been fun and exciting for all of NewCath Families that have a son and/or relative playing. Austin Neff, a Junior, plays on the team. Logan has moved on to TMC. You are correct in saying that there are many Ft. Thomas families and friends excited for these young men and this team. Thanks!

Epic fail on my part. My intent was to highlight that the relationships are strong and have been for years and I typed the wrong name

Logan Neff had a great football career at NCC and now it is Austin's time to shine. Sorry for the mistake.

Fair enough. Best of luck to the Breds this week.
