Well Coached, rich tradition, always in the hunt.

1 or 2 in the region along with Cooper.

Enough talent and depth to make a run at the state title.

Barring a terrible shooting night like last March, I see them as Kings of the North.

I like Cooper in the 9th - I think they have the weapons, athleticism, coaching, and culture to beat Cov Cath. Both teams will be very, very good - the healthier team come March will be the better team.

Who takes over as JV coach, now that Otte is at Conner?

Who will the bigs be?

Depends on the type of lineup they want. Mayer can play an effective 5. Walter. Ziggy as a backup.

I think you'll also see some Nick Thelen as a crazy-athletic 5 in some line-ups. That young man has really improved his game since the season ended. Obviously a lot of developing and refining still to come, but you can't teach much of what he brings to the table.

Both Cooper and Covington Catholic will be in the 2016 King of the Bluegrass, December 16-21, 2016 at Fairdale High School. They will be in opposite brackets.

Looking forward to seeing how Walter does with increased playing time. A big key I would think.

The depth of the program really kicks in this year. Time to amp up the defensive pressure even more.

No, no you can't. Kid has pogo sticks for legs.

Unless Ben Weyer is the opposing 5. Just sayin....He is very scrappy and can play facing the basket so I would rather see him as a strong 4.

Should be big and deep this year. Return 4 starters (Ruthsatz,Frederick,Mayer,VonHandorf)and then will have a bevy of options to fill the 5th starting spot (Walters,Davin,Thelen,Lenihan,Nowak,Schuh and many others I'm forgetting)
