Ervin Stepp was agreat high school player. I remember The LHL running a special box on him so that their readers could keep up with his scoring exploits. He was a step slow for the next level. I saw his last collegiate game and even playing at the NAIA level he was not quick enough. He had great skills but square wheels.

Evans at Knox Central should have a good bunch this year. He has Miller and a buch of good guards. If a big kid steps up they will be Competitive in the 13th. Fraley anf Flynn are proven comodities moving in to good situations. I would expect both of them to be successful.

Can he beat out Eric Wright? St. John, Watkins and Gilbert would appear to be pretty locked in. Who will sit Huff or Wright? Sounds like this kid is athletic but can he provide the floor leadership that Little "E" can?

Mississippi usually has pretty good high school football. They turn out a disproportionate amount of D1 kids per their population. Kudos to Johnson Central for stepping out and playing an unknown comodity.

How much did Letcher Central throw the ball? Is Whitaker having any input in the offense there?

This will be a close one 22-20. You can pick the winner. Turnovers will be the differance. Coach Mills has done a great job at KC and the Larkey name speaks for itself.

Lynn Camp won't be beat upfront the rest of the year like they were last night. The Smith kid will not see that kind of pressure again. Whitley has an exceptional bunch and would devastate most teams in this area. Whitley's first 15 kids is in the top 10 bunches in the state. But they do not have 30 kids that can play like Highlands, X and Trinity. There is no shame in being beat by Whitley.

48-0 at half. Whitley was to big and way to fast. They averaged 10 yards a carry. Bramlet was a bowling ball running down hill. Wynn ran away from the Campers all night. LeBannion has that knack of picking the right time to keep the ball. The defense was suffocating. I don't know how good Lynn Camp's back were because they were getting beat so bad up front. When the Campers would have a big play Whitley's speed would run them down. Alex Patrick ran one play down from the opposite side were the guys next to me were asking where did he come from. Boston Bryant is a killer coming off the end. It is scary how good he could be in 3 years. The Camp played hard but they were over matched.I hate to say it but Pain may have been a good prediction. Sorry Daddy Cat.

Jel;lico played hard throughout and improved dramatically from the beginning to end. Their kids, fans and coaches never quit. They seemed to have more fun in a loss than Williamsburg did in a win. Williamsburg was not sharp or this one would have got ugly early. Moses played better than his stats reflected and Thomas was a pleasant surprise on both sides of the ball. Petit appears much improved. The last touchdown came on the play after a Jellico timeout. Jellico still thought they had a chance or why would they call a timeout. Williamsburg just took away any chance that they may have had. I expect Jellico to be much better in this 3nd week and wish them luck for the rest of the season.

The injuries will be to much for the Jackets to overcome. S.L.'s bodies will enable them to pull this one out in the 4th quarter 24-20.

The Colonels speed is underrated. Nobody stopped the Colonels from moving the ball last year. If they don't turn it over it will be 27-24 for Whitley.
