PepRock01 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Not an impressive outing by the Rocks. Kragthorpe goes out in the 3rd quarter not to return. Not sure the details, but he had his pads off so I don't know what the injury was.
Birdsfan Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 It sounds serious from what I've heard from folks at the game. Anyone know anything more?
BuddyBW Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Yikes. The sophomore class is going to have to grow up quickly. I didn't expect this one.

buckley99 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Something was up with his foot, not his ankle though.

BuddyBW Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Hopefully Krags gets back to 100% soon. Meanwhile, who is the backup?
colonel-fan Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Obviously, they play some very good football in Indianapolis.
SuperShamrocks Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Early word is a turf toe injury..not sure how bad. Wouldn't have mattered though, Rocks looked distant tonight...lack of emotion. The Rocks have A LOT to work on..but the season is early, and Im not going to bet against Beatty and staff.
BuddyBW Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 It sounds like T was up 14-0 at half and then just completely fell apart, giving up 31 unanswered, which is very uncharacteristic of a Bean D. Did LC drive on THS or were they working with short fields from turnovers?

Did LC drive on THS or were they working with short fields from turnovers? A little of both, they drove the opening second half possession for a score, they picked off Kragthorpe and ran it back for a TD and hit a FG working with a short field do to a Trinity fumble. The momentum really started to change when they completed a Hail Mary for a TD with time running out of the first half.

Something happened on the INT that caused him to take himself out. From the sideline it looked like he had no follow through on the throw, due to the poor footing.
TheDeuce Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Is LN that good? Or is Trinity that down this year?
Ragoo Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Is Trinity down this year? Granted I saw Lawerence North play last year and they didn't seem like a team that could be beating Trinity any time soon...
