Williamsburg must replace the big boys. Rollins, Phillips and Hopkins were good football players. Brock and Lawson's big play ability will also be sorely missed. I expect Barton to have a break out year. The Burg should play McCreary year in and year out. It makes since for both because of their proximity.

Josh Smith is not flashy. He is a grinder who just wins. It sounds like Corbin took out their frustrations on North.

Good job Mountain Lions. J.D. is a great coach.

The Raiders have struggled within the 12th this year.

South is not blowing people out like in the past but they are a solid team that knows how to win. The lack of bench play will catch up with them at some point. "0" points from the bench again. St. John and Miller are the two best players in the region. It sounds like they put on a show for the crowd.

Corbin is on a walk in the park right now. They are also doing a good job of developing their young players in these games.

Tough loss for the Colonels. LeBanion is a differance maker for them. I hope he is back soon.

Middlesboro is very good. It seems like this bunch of kids have been playing forever.

This team reminds of the Richie Farmer Clay County teams. I hope they get the big trophy come March.

The love these teams have for each other should make it interesting come tourney time.

Madison Central struggled with the 13th this weekend.

Corbin is definitely the best team in the 13th. Maybe Roscoe can figure out how to beat them but It has not been pretty the first couple of times. Also Knox has beaten the Hounds but I believe the Hounds would beat them 8 out of 10 times.

Holmes! Always go with the Kentucky team. Kentucky has the best coaching in the country.

Corbin looks solid for the next several years. Their staff has done a good job this year of getting some of the younger kids playing time.

The kids had a choice of offense or defense. Greer chose defense and played a good game. A lot of these kids play both ways in high school but when you only have 3 days to practice you can't let everybody play both ways. This is a good game and the organizers have done an excellent job.

This is a good win for the Cards. Just when they appear to be slipping they show their ability to beat good teams. Hopefully their bench scored more than they did against Seneca. Foul trouble really puts the Cards in a hard spot. They have not developed their younger kids.

Disapointing loss for the Colonels. They can't seem to get over the edge.

This is a good road win for the Hounds. Corbin may win out until the tournament.

Glad to see Lowrie have a big game. He plays his butt off night in and night out but doesn't get much attention because he is not a big scorer.

The Hounds did not have much turn around time from Friday to Saturday. Long road trip and early tip could have lead to the lackluster start.

Taylor picked up 3 fouls in about 30 seconds including the T. Williamsburg needs both him and Cunningham on the floor to be competitive.Without Williamsburg is very easy to guard. The second foul and the T were a result of him losing his composure. After those fouls the game was over. Corbin is very physical and handchecks all over the floor both if they did not play like that I'm sure the coaches would run them to death. It is just hardnosed "D" and if it is not called it is not a foul. Adjust when you see that is what the refs are going to call it close. Williamsburg must adjust to how thw game is being called. Often an elbow clearing out will cause the refs to call a closer game.

I don't believe this was a fluke. Williamsburg was the better team. They match up well with the Lady Hounds.

I'm glad to see Crawford have a big game on a big stage.

Harlan County has no choice but to get better with Coach Jones roaming the sidelines.
