Final in the 13th Region All-A championship game. Mild upset? Any details?

Maybe a mild upset, but Pineville is 14-8 and has won six of their last eight games. Also, Pineville won the 13th Region All A last season so don't count out experience over Middlesboro.

Pineville gets the winner of Deming/Calvary Christian in Richmond.

I would probably say Pineville would be a slim favorite in that game, but it will be close. The big thing for Pineville, as I said earlier, is that they have been to Richmond before. McBrayer on the first night might be a little overwhelming for Deming or Calvary.

If both Elliott and Pineville could win first round games then a Friday night matchup would have two teams that rely on their guards for scoring and leadership. Strange vs. Ev./Et. Faulkner??

I was at the game. First time I had seen both teams play. Just watching both teams warm up I thought that Middlesboro looked like the slightly bigger, stronger, and athletic team.

I also noticed that Pineville can absolutely light it up from out side the arc. Both teams played hard throughout and put on a good show for the fans.

Pineville hit a Buzzer shot to win the game.

Pineville vs Deming would be a good match-up to see but whichever one of those teams wins that one, I think will have a really hard time with Elliott.

If you ask all of the people that has been hyping Middlesboro up, they would say it's a mild upset, but I don't believe so. Pineville is a good team, but for people to say Middlesboro has the second best talent in the region is going out on a limb.

I don't think Pineville was on either of our top 10 lists coming into the season. Strange has done a tremendous job this season with a team that lost four starters.

I think it's an upset but not shocking because Pineville has played well most of the season.
