OLDSCHOOL PATS Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Anyone with any details on this won. Good job Warriors on a big win.
SouthernSportsFan Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I didn't attend this game, as I was out of town. Any details would be appreciated? Did McCreary play their full allotment of players?
warrior_69 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Well first off I want to clear something up....According to some previous posts the Warriors were supposed to go to Stearns and not show up...yeah right you must be some kind of fool to think that Southwestern was over looking this game. This one started out ugly for the Raiders as Southwestern closed the 1st half by a score of 34-14. Southwestern dominated the Raiders on the boards McCreary was pretty much one and done in the first half but the 2nd half was pretty sloppy for both teams. McCreary got the lead to ten if I recall in the third quarter but Southwestern was able to brake the momentum and regain a twenty point lead. And then silly fouls in the fourth and lack of rebounding hurt the warriors in the 4th.
nomorenoles Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 The Raiders have struggled within the 12th this year.
The Banker of the South Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I didn't attend this game, as I was out of town. Any details would be appreciated? Did McCreary play their full allotment of players? Yes everyone played, Watts didn't start, set the first 6 mins. Played the rest of the game. Nice job by warriors this sets up a interesting game 3 at Monticello.
mchsraiders Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 McCreary got took to the Ole wood shed for a whooping tonight. warriors played great ball. I am not some kind of fool to know what i was told about Southwesterns fans comments. I was close on my prediction of 68 - 54 though, wrong team picked to win. Good win for Southwestern, McCreary needs to respond and start playing ball before it is too late.

warrior_69 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I dont know. Roark was a man child and dominated `the boards in the 2nd half when SW's Terry Muse was benched due to foul trouble. It should be a dandy in 4 more weeks.

Anybody that even has a little knowledge about Dave Schulz knows that he's going to have his team ready to play every single night. So whoever told you that needs to get their story straight before they go saying crap that everyone should know is a bunch of non-sense.
Les Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 This isn't a surprise to me at all. McCreary is overrated.
donnie355 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) Why didnt Watts start? Missing practice I heard. Edited January 25, 2009 by Ram Rule 13
Thomas Magnum Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 This isn't a surprise to me at all. McCreary is overrated. I think alot of people bought into the hype and now reality has set in. The Raiders could get it going but the schedule does not favor them. Tlhe 12th is a very even region and there are maybe 5 teams who could win it. Raider Rob could be on the hot seat if he does not produce something pretty quick.
cellking Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 No pressure on Rob. He runs the School System. He is the AD. Don't think he will fire himself.Should, but want happen.
