This game will set the tone for these teams the remainder of the season. 5 years ago these two teams were at the bottom of the barrel. Coach Mills has made Knox County a team to be reckoned with. McCreary Central has also through hard work reversed their reputation. These two teams are no longer cannon fodder on homecoming. It is good to see these two programns improvement. If Knox continues to struggle on "D" it will be a long night. Last year Knox dominated this matchup but I expect a 30-28 game which is to close to call.

Lynn Camp is not as talented as some of their teams in the past but they have that Coach Mitchell toughness about them. If they can control the Eagles big plays they will grind out a tough win.

I believe that Whitley County has to much team speed for Harlan County. Whitley must play better than they did last week or they will struggle with everybody on their schedule. If you don't tackle you can't win.

Bell is to good for the Rock. 35-14.

I'm glad Root is healed. Root being all over the field is a big part of the Jacket defense. Who will take Root's spot on the O line? Will he change numbers if he is in the backfield? SL has regressed a tremendous amount from their big winning streak against the Hounds. Coach Chappell left for a 1A job. This makes you think that the administration may not be putting much emphasis on football. Basball and basketball seem to have the athletes to be competitive.

Harlan and Lynn Camp play the same style but I believe that the Dragons have better horses this year.

Bell has the ability to take teams out of their game and make them look bad. The Colonels will bounce back this week.

Full Metal Jacket can you give us an injury report for the Jackets? Barton is out for the year. Lowery could be back in a couple of weeks. But what about Root? I believe that he played last week but was hampered by an injury. Someone said he pulled his groin.

Coach Matney has done a good job at JC and will continue to do so. I think they will win their district this year. He has set the standards high and has blown expectations up. Compare his record to all his predecessors.

This is a classic 5A vs 2A. The nubers and the size will kick in at some point and JC will prevail by 10.

It sounds like Leslie gave a big effert but ran out of gas. I expected HC to roll early in this one.

LCA scores in bunches. Breathit County has had a hard time getting untracked this year. LCA by 12.
