Coach Larkey is one of those old soldiers who knows how to win. Does everybody in the District have a loss but Whitley?

A win is a win is a win. I expected a larger margin but will take the win. Whitley's "D" has struggled this year. I expected them to be much better.

The beat goes on. The Bunnies roll again.

This is not a one year phenomenom. They have underachieved for several years now.

Didn't Sean sign with Eastern? He also was an integral part of some fine Tiger basketball teams.

Indiana by way of Sam Karr. He is Sam Karr's grandson a former coach at Sue Bennett. He played at South as a freshman but moved to Indiana.

Bubba how about the West kid he is a nice player. I thought he would fit in the equation somewhere.

The depth at South at guard would be resolved if Karr gets eligible. With the kid from Kansas, Karr Gilbert, Wright, Huff, Clontz, Watkins and Smith they would be full at guard. I don't know if the Mitchell, Skinner or Sanders kid could break into this rotation. They'll get a lot of JV minutes and hopefully be ready when their Juniors to contribute. Coach Wright has a problem all coaches wish they had with this much depth at guard.

Manns, Wilson and Johnson give them a very good core. Hopkins is a big body with skills. Smith was productive for them last year off the bench. Sizemore is a 6'3" kid with good skills who like Cheeks at North could not beat out Coach Wright's son at South. They also have a bunch of young kids who play hard and will compete for minutes.

Does anyone know if the Karr kid is at South? If so he will take care of their ballhandling issues.

Williamsburg had a lot of seniors most importantly Teague and Cunningham plus several defections this summer. Pettit is a big body who can play when he wants and Cory Fleenor plays all out all the time. C.J. Jones playing should be a big addition. I have no idea who will be the point. Without a point you have no direction. Lowery I believe will get first shot. If they can find somebody to man the point they will be respectable. But in the 50th with South and Corbin the best you can hope for is 3rd if you are respectable and that is doubtful with Whitley expectng to take a step forward this year. They are in the wrong district to make any noise. Hopefully they will make a run in the All "A".

You never know with Lynn Camp. They always seem to add some kids and lose some kids every year. Until they start playing you don't know who will be on their roster.

They have a bunch of athletes. They need to make the pieces fit. That has been the puzzle at Whitley for several years.

Does the Hooker kids injury effect your thoughts here?

Whitley will dominate up front. 41-7.

Cellking is right. The Raiders should be proud of their improvement and must stay positive to keep moving forward.

The average score 36-9 sounds about right for this one.

They played in Williamsburg's homecoming several years ago. I believe the Jackets beat them in a great game. There may be a hex on the Hounds for homecoming games. I doubt it. The Hounds are getting better every game up front and their skill people are beginning to dominate.

Bell is the King of the Mountains right now. I would expect that they will remain at the top or near the top for the forseeable future. Dudley would not settle for anything less.

St. Johns is Godzilla and King Kong in this region. If they can find anybody over than St. John and Watkins to score they will be hard to handle. I question their ability to handle the ball and depth. Dean and Smith did not get their due credit last year. If Gilbert plays out front they will be very small other than Godziller.

It is hard to imagine how much North has improved in a year. The administration should give themselves a pat on the back for the Larkey hire. Maybe it was just dumb luck but Coach Larkey has made them look like geniuses.North by 8.

I'm glad to see an honest rather than politically correct answer.

The common thread with Mills and Larkey is they teach their teams to be tough and execute. They do not try to overwhelm you with their genius. Their mentors Tom Larkey and Dudley have to be proud.
