Even though McCreary played poorly last week and dropped a big game. I think that they bounce back this week with a one sided win over Powell County. The Raiders shouldn't take them lightly however, its a long trip up there and long bus rides can affect even the best teams.

Powell seems to be a solid team. Their offense is a power run type offense as they utilize the Bone. McCreary needs to focus all of their energy on this game and work harder this week in practice than they have all year. I think our team will shake off last week and handle their business this week. I think Powell will be a quality opponent and McCreary will have to play hard to get the W.

McCreary Central 30-14.

McCreary 35-7

McCreary 32-14

I think McCreary will bounce back quite well. Long drive to Powell Co. Coach Gay is probally looking fwd. to the Trip back to Powell Co. I think he Coached Basketball there a ways back.

34-7 McCreary Central

Powell County's only win came over hapless Jackson County and they lost to previously winless Madison Southern 47-0 last week. I don't see the challenge.

McCreary should score early and often. Roark and Watts could both have big games. McCreary by 25.

Powell County is not a solid team or a quality opponent. The teams that they have lost to have a combined record of 2-15 when not playing Powell County. McCreary will win by a lot. There's no reason to pretend that they are a quality opponent any more than Pineville or Leslie County was. McCreary Central needs to beat a decent team in their class or above to prove that they are legit.
