  1. Congratulations on the good win. Keep working hard.
  2. Congrats to Bell Co. I don't know much about Soddy Daisy except the they have been pretty good in past years. I agree big win especially against a 6A school from Tennessee.
  3. Congrats to Knox, I thought they might pull this one out tonight. They have a big strong team and on a night like tonight with bad field conditions strength usually wins.
  4. McCreary needed this one, great win. They played with a little fire in them this week unlike the last two weeks especially in the second half. The offensive line blocked well considering two of their starting linemen went down in the first quarter. A freshmen stepped up and played big. The second half the defense stepped up and held a very fast and dangerous offense to one touchdown. Great win, congratulations to all the players and the coaches at McCreay on getting the first winning season and getting a spot in the playoffs for the third year in a row.
  5. Why are we all of a sudden talking about fried pickles instead of football.:idunno: Even though they do sound good.... mmmm...... fried pickles If McCreary stays focused and plays like they can play they can pick the score in this one. But Powell shouldn't be overlooked. McCreary needs a good convincing win to boost them from that loss last week into district game next week. Now thats how its done:laugh:
  6. If Pulaski plays they way they can play Coach Hines can pick the score. I pick PC big over Lincoln. 46 - 6
  7. Even though McCreary played poorly last week and dropped a big game. I think that they bounce back this week with a one sided win over Powell County. The Raiders shouldn't take them lightly however, its a long trip up there and long bus rides can affect even the best teams.
  8. Bottom line McCreary didn't show up to play, or at least this years McCreary team didn't show. The team that showed up at Knox Central looked more like the McCreary teams of the past. When things a got a little tough they did not respond in a positive way. Congratulations to Coach Mills and the rest of the Knox team. They had a great game plan and executed it well.
  9. Better bring your umbrella looks like rain tonight. Question: Which team benefits from rain and a wet field? Does it make a difference in the outcome of the game?
  10. If the swine flu ruins football season I'm going to be very upset. :puke::madman:
  11. According to the news keeping your players from getting the flu or some other illness seems to be the challenge for a lot of teams this year.
  12. The only luck the Raiders will need is the luck to keep everyone healthy. The word is the there has been a stomach virus going around the high school and the team. I think Roark had it last week against Leslie.
