Haven't really set down and figured it out yet. Maybe some of the people from that district can help us out.

I'll wait for 3wishes to confirm it, but I believe this is the first time KC has beaten Rock back to back and 3 of the last 4.

 

Rockcastle has a great program. Any success against them is noteworthy.

Congrats to Knox, I thought they might pull this one out tonight. They have a big strong team and on a night like tonight with bad field conditions strength usually wins.

KC is getting on a roll after coming out of the gate slow. They are cursed with having Bell in their district. But if you are going to be the best you have got to beat the best. I believe Rick Flair said that.

Well, here I go opening my big mouth so everyone from KC and Bell can jump on here and hammer me! But..............pepper you are not actually correct with this statement. McCreary has only lost one district game which means that KC hasn't actually locked in 2nd place yet. Now before everyone gets all excited about that statement remember I am talking about mathmatics here. I think I am smart enough to know that MC would have to win out against a very good Rockcastle team and a very, very good Bell team (maybe there should have been one more very in there) to put it in a 3 way tie and even though that may not be probable it is still mathmatically possible( I think the tie breaker then would be win/loss record.....I think). Please don't be to hard on me guys, what kind of coach would I be if I didn't have all the confidence in the world for my team. All I can say is Raiders pack your lunch and lets go to work we have a very hard job a head of us! If we work as hard as we can and play as hard as we can putting fourth our best effort then no one can take that away from us! Congradulations KC on a very good win!

OK, I'll play along. HOP is correct, it's not mathmatically settled. Since the first tiebreaker is head to head, MCC can't tie KC for second. However, all they have to do is beat Bell and Rockcastle while KC loses to Madison Southern. This makes MCC district champs, Bell would finish 2nd, KC 3rd.

Congrats on the win KC. Ohhhhhhhh....those extra points bit us in the butt again this year as it did last year. :ohbrother: But, at least we were going for the win there at the end and not playing catch up like last year after a missed extra point try. I'm proud of the way they Rock responded in the second half and hope they can come out firing this next Friday against MC. Our boys played a bit flat in the first half and it bit them in the tail in the end. The game wasn't decided until the last play with that stop. Again, congrats on win.
