I think that is fair. I feel sorry for the Gilpin family. I believe that fault lies with both parties.

Terrible situation but I am happy for the coach.

Exactly. Is there a link available this early?

How did the player contribute to the "fault"?

I said parties not player. The step-mother said he was feeling ill that morning. He should have been kept home from practice.

Use of adderall, creatine (sp?) and practicing while sick all could contribute. Sad situation but I'm very happy the coach was aquitted,

This should have never gone to criminal court and I think the verdict cam back correct. But Coach Stinson will probably have a wrongful death suit coming his way. Civil court is where this belonged the entire time. I stand with Coach Stinson though as this man was demonized by many. This was an awful situation that snowballed, thanks to the media, into something entirely on another level. My prayers have been and will continue to be with both the Gilpin family and Coach Stinson and his family.

There is no way to slice this that makes the situation anything less than tragic, however, I am relieved by the verdict.

I believe this was the correct decision. This matter should not have been indicted. It sounds as if the Commonwealth Attorney was playing to the media. This has been traumatic for the Gilpin and Stinson families. God bless the Gilpin family.

The Court System has made me a believe twice now, it may get somethings wrong from time to time, but I have to say it is the best system possible.

I feel for the family who lost a young man, but I am also very glad this verdict came back the way it did, the coach followed the rules and was not at fault. Just a terrible situation, and no one killed the young man.

I agree, just hope both families can pick up the pieces and try and look forward.
