Shoot-out in Williamsburg. Right down to the wire.

Knox Central ran back and interception to go up 48-38. Williamsburg returned the kickoff to make it 48-46.

Wow.

Finally over.

Wburg can still not stop the run. Defense would have made a difference. Being able to run out the clock would have been big as well once they were up by 10 in the fourth. Jackets played hard, were outsized, and out numbered but almost won. Sound familar? Off to Hazard to next. It does not get any easier for the Jackets.

Sounds like an awesome game.

Fun game to watch but Bubba is right Wburg can not stop the run. The coaches did move some kids around tonight that I thought helped on defense.

They didn't stop the pass either. The Jackets played hard but were just outmanned. Ryan Moses is playing phenominal this year. He is worth the price of admission. Petit is also playing like a man this year. Williamsburg showed a lot of improvement tonight. They must figure out how to keep the other team from scoring if they are going to win.

Phenomenal game by Moses and Petit tonight, also Chad Merida?? played well for KC.

22/41 329 Passing Yards with 4 TDs and 2 EPs. He also had a Rushing TD and EP.

Dusty Brown had 5 Catches for 112 yards and 2 Tds and a 80 yard ish Kick off return for a TD

Petit had 9 Catches for 109 yards a TD and 2 EPs

I don't think Dr. Moses caught 5 balls lol, I believe you meant Dusty Brown.

Thanks, I must have been thinking about Ryan's brother.

It looked like Wburg caught a bad break on the TD call on the fumble into the endzone, at least based on what i saw on WYMT.:idunno:

That's kind of how I saw it at the game but I just don't trust these old eyes.

They had a good shot of it on wymt, Milam said it sure looked like a fumble well before it crossed the line.

That is what it looked like to me on TV but the refs called a TD so I geuss it wasn't a fumble.

The officiating has been and always will be terrible in this area until there is some accountability, supervision and training. There are some good officials but only because they take it upon themselve to huslte and know the rules and mechanics.
