After further investigation it appears Pine Knott referee was one who wanted to rule TD. Whitley Co. referee wanted to call fumble

That is what it looked like to me on TV but the refs called a TD so I geuss it wasn't a fumble.:confused:

The Root kid is not injured. Not sure where that started but someone's intel is not correct.

Full Metal Jacket can you give us an injury report for the Jackets? Barton is out for the year. Lowery could be back in a couple of weeks. But what about Root? I believe that he played last week but was hampered by an injury. Someone said he pulled his groin.

 

I'd like to know too. I didn't get to see the game, but listened to it on the radio and I didn't hear his name mentioned much-just wondering if he was injured?:confused:

Root is not hurt. Thomas will be out for Friday's game, not sure about Taylor, it depends his quad has healed, Wright out, for about 6 more weeks, Lowrie out for two more weeks, Barton will never be back on the football field due to injury. It looks like Root will be playing running back!

I'm glad Root is healed. Root being all over the field is a big part of the Jacket defense. Who will take Root's spot on the O line? Will he change numbers if he is in the backfield? If so someone needs to tell Stan so he can give him credit for his tackles. It has been weird not hearing Stan call his name the last 3 Fridays.

Root could be a good fit running the ball.
