Not sure, but isn't that what he gets paid to cover?? Look at the college level of tournament play, or professional level neither has a one and out. Baseball is a different game than football and basketball. One pitcher can dominate a game. Think, do we want the best teams or the one with a dominating pitcher to win? The region imo should be two and out as well. just like the College WS, Super Regionals and conferance tournaments. I do agree they may need to shorten the season similar to Ohio.

They will have to finish on Sat. That is when the season ends. Scott HS was fined by the KHSAA a few years back for playing a game on the Sun before the District tournament. I guess they could maybe get a ruling from the comish though.

We can talk until we are blue in the face the rule will not change. It is not enforcable. Nothing is done now until the Districts start anyway.

Give me a break I bet the Camp Co coach would allow one of his teams to practice on the field and not play a home game on it. it had to be playable!

Great coach, friend and mentor. Coach Brown should be looked at as one of the best coaches in the history of the ninth region. He will be missed greatly!

DMZ Maybe in Football, being the underdog is a rereshing change but not lately in baseball. I do think they will be in the mix late in the season.

It is really not going to change much the old rule of counting tournaments only applied to a max of three tournaments anyway. Round robin and double elimination tournaments counted as two with a max of 4 games played, anything over four played counted extra anyway. That comes out to sic free games.

Who coached these school team? It is my understanding that the HS coach, his assistants and any volunteer for the school team can not coach.

What do you think the chances are that he enrolls at the semester break to get a head start? I bet the area HS baseball coaches would help in any way possible to get this done. LOL Congrats to Cody best of luck!

I know of one, East Carter coached by JP Kounts in the mid 80's(I think 84), I believe they lost to Rowen Co in the district beat them in the region finals.

Just an FYI. I heard from a St. Henry source the KHSAA has set the ticket prices at $7 for all 6 years old and up. So don't be alarmed when you get there and remember St. Henry did not set the price nor do they get any profit.
