VOR-Not sure if you checked out the JV roster as well, several freshman on there. Probably 1/2 soph, 1/2 freshman. Maybe trickle down effect not sure.

I agree it is a joke, can we see a setup for basketball here. A school with two gyms can play everyone from freshman to Sr. in a 3 hour basketball scrimmage. Such is life in KY.

The Birds and Tigers Varsity must be looking good in practice to allow the freshman to use one of their two scrimmages. Anybody know if the respective varsity guys are playing a scrimmage??

Banana slug this is no myth, two balls hit a least that far. I believe one of them was hit by Brian Hiagas(sp) who went on to NKU to play baseball. The other by Frank. I don't think anyone knows the distance but well over 400 feet would not be far fetched at all. Look at the tree in center at Thomas more past the fence one was caught under it. Anyone who was ther in 1987 would not forget them

I believe the Red Sox retain the rights to him for three years. After his Junior year in college Luke would go back in the draft. If he decides to go to school and something goes wrong or he drops out during the next three years Boston would still be able to sign him. I believe this is how it works someone correct me if this is not right.

Beechwood has talent every year. If you look at he school, they can not win football titles year in and year out with out it. It just so happens that in the last 10 years or so lots of those guys are now playing multiple sports, like baseball. I know this started happening in baseball when Noel Rash the current head football coach was the head baseball coach. The talent pool might not be as large but talent is talent.
