Reminds of 2001 when CCH beat Dixie 4x in the regular season and districts and then lost 1-0 in Championship.

Easy to second-guess now. If Nutini loses to NCC you'd say should've pitched Isler that game though, and Covcath would've been bashed for "looking past" NCC.

Nutini pitched good. Had a shutout until the 6th. CCH just couldn't hit the ball and convert scoring oppts. It happens.

As it was said going into the bottom of the 7th on the internet radio, "time for Cov Cath to put up or shut up." Just couldn't show up in the big game again, which is a real disappointment for those seniors who had a phenomenal career and will have great careers beyond high school.

This score is shocking. How does a team with that much hitting lose to a pitcher that had thrown about 15 innings all year and hasn't pitched in 3 weeks. Unreal. Very disappointing year in the 3 big sports for CCH this year.

However, I'd like to also say that I couldn't be happier for Nathan Snyder.
