Bluesport
Just goes to show you anything can happen in a 1 game setting. Reminds of 2001 when CCH beat Dixie 4x in the regular season and districts and then lost 1-0 in Championship. Congrats to Beechwood.
NKYThreeFer
I guess that should have saved Isler. Easy to second-guess now. If Nutini loses to NCC you'd say should've pitched Isler that game though, and Covcath would've been bashed for "looking past" NCC.
Bluesport
I guess that should have saved Isler. Nutini pitched good. Had a shutout until the 6th. CCH just couldn't hit the ball and convert scoring oppts. It happens.

goallout25
As it was said going into the bottom of the 7th on the internet radio, "time for Cov Cath to put up or shut up." Just couldn't show up in the big game again, which is a real disappointment for those seniors who had a phenomenal career and will have great careers beyond high school. But, Congrats to the Tigers and Coach Myerhoff!

sixtyfeetsix
What a tournament by the Tigers. Great job guys. CCH had an awesome team also, so the 9th region would have been represented well either way. Good luck Tigers!
Theoldguy
Congrats to the Beechwood Tigers they played to win this game and executed each and every time they needed to. Outstanding job by the MVP of the Ninth Region Tournament Nathan Snyder. Good luck Beechwood in the Semi-State.
Beechwoodfan
Wow! Congratulations to the Tigers. I understand Nathan Snyder pitched all 7 innings. Way to go Nate! Your daddy is smiling down on you!
Shutitdown
This score is shocking. How does a team with that much hitting lose to a pitcher that had thrown about 15 innings all year and hasn't pitched in 3 weeks. Unreal. Very disappointing year in the 3 big sports for CCH this year.

Clyde
I'd like to officially retract my "run rule" statement from the prediction thread. However, I'd like to also say that I couldn't be happier for Nathan Snyder. Kudos to Bob Myerhoff, his staff, and his young team.
