If you are coming to the game.....park in the lot in front of the new construction. (The regular parking lot) Walk in front of the school. Enter the double doors of the high school, then straight back that hallway and out the back double doors to the baseball gate. Construction around here is making it interesting, to say the least. It will all be good in the end. Until then, thought I'd post how to get to the field to save some aggravation. Good Luck to both teams. Should be a perfect day for some baseball.

Right now, looks like I'll be cheering on my Tigers from here in the Fort. I think home field advantage is huge this week, simply for the distance and that most fans can't make the trip. Yes, I can drive there, but I don't have the funds to spend the night, and it's a long drive back late at night. Seems a shame that a neutral field equi-distant couldn't be arranged. I also feel that this IS the State Game, since we've met Mayfield there in the past. I don't think playing the finals in Bowling Green is convenient to most of the state, either. Ok. I feel better now, and I'll quietly step down off the soapbox. Happy Thanksgiving and safe travel to all. Let's have a good, clean, injury-free game. Go Tigers!

It's only rainy and muddy when Beechwood travels to Bellevue. LOL. Seems that way EVERY year. I heard cold and clear weather.

Why would you say that? This is a closer match up than the previous two for the Beechwood Tigers. This week is definately no waste of time.

I think this game may be evenly matched and can swing either way. Let's just hope for a clean, healthy game! (As opposed to a mud-bowl!)

I have heard good things about Eminence's football program. I've heard they are vastly improved from the teams of old.

At Beechwood, the football parents host a dinner each week of playoffs on Thursday. We usually have a combination of donated food items, and then home cooked and serve a nice meal after practice. On Thanksgiving morning, we have coffee, juice, and doughnuts for the parents as we all gather to watch practice. You know you've had a good year when your Thanksgiving plans revolve around the football team!!! GO TIGERS!!!
