  1. Congratulations, Tigers on a great season. Stand tall and be proud. We're proud of you!
  2. Graduation is scheduled more than a year in advance. Too hard to move it, and collide with literally hundreds of other lives and schedules. Championship ball games are last minute type of deals. Great predicament to be in. I like the video idea. Gotta love technology. All five in my house vote for playing the game, including the one that spoke at their graduation.
  3. Have to agree with you. Sitting directly behind the plate, he sure liked them slightly outside. But, we're human, and we're not making the OFFICIAL calls. Great job Tigers! And yes, Nate, you made us proud! Along with every other player on the team!
  4. Congratulations, Tigers! Keep it rolling! CCH Team and especially SENIORS-Great season, Great memories, and best of luck as you move toward the next chapter.
  5. Eagerly awaiting more posts! Haven't quit praying, BF!
  6. Thanks for sharing. There's strength in numbers, and with all of us on here, it's Herculean! Good Luck and positive thoughts!
  7. Seems this baseball season has been more miserable weather-wise than most football seasons! Yesterday ranks right up there with the most uncomfortable games attended.
  8. So, how was it? haven't heard a peep from anyone.
  9. Beautiful baby. Congrats to all.
  10. I'd say that the district championship game could have lower attendance because the kids are strapped for cash, the game costs more than a usual game, and they know that their team will go to the region anyway. Now, the next regional games will have better attendance. It could be their last game. Just my observation.
  11. Well, we went this past Saturday, (To Bards Burgers) (our Valentine's Dinner!) and were NOT dissappointed. The burgers were big, juicy and delicious. The fries weren't too shabby, either. We'll definately be back. As I was sitting there, I kept looking around wondering how I could improve the room. It's a tough call. The room ISN'T the taste, but it could use something, I just don't know what.
  12. The spouse and I ALMOST went to Bard's on Saturday night. We weren't sure it was open, and weren't sure if it was going to cut it. Sounds like we should try again!
  13. Congratulations Matt!!!! It's an honor and a privilege to say I've watched you grow up into a fine young man and football player! AND, to get to go to Brown.....You earned it. Enjoy!
  14. Probably 2 hours today, and now this old body is feeling it! My husband did the 'heavy' stuff, but I was doing the walk and diggin out 4 of the 5 cars in the drive. They were all iced shut, so I couldn't even get it to run the defrost for awhile! They are clean now, and I hope we can get out tomorrow morning in a timely manner, as I hear that we will all be returning to school and work.
  15. Son just returned from taking his girlfriend back to NKU dorms for the first time in 2 days. He says the parking lots at NKU are a joke-completely covered. He said most roads were passable, even 275 and I-75, but if it re-freezes, there will be problems.
  16. I prefer to think of it as "Turning Blonde" Every 6 weeks the spouse and I go to the stylist on a 'date'. I'm a big spender, eh?
  17. CONGRATULATIONS TIGERS!!!!!! Great job. Keep the groove!
  18. OH GROAN.... But, I have to hand it to you, you're quick! I like it! Congrats to all the nominees. Good Job! Good Luck Brady!
  19. Northern KY is proud of you, Pioneers! Stand tall and relish the memories of a great season!
  20. Congratulations Bluebirds! Two today for NKY. Ok Breds and Pioneers, you know what you have to do tomorrow!
