Congrats to Coach Schulkens. 4 regional championships and an all A State to his credit. He’s done a great job over the last 24 years

Does anyone have the post game press comment for these teams? They were put up on several other game threads. Really nice to hear both teams comments

Broad general statement from someone who doesn't know all the facts. One example: Ryle Football 2014-5-7, 2015 9-3, 2016 12-1, 2017 8-3, 2018 2-9 This past season pretty tough but the last five as a whole pretty solid if you ask me.

Season starts in 10 days, Feb 15th. Tough decision to make this close to the season.

Can someone tell me the how you qualify for the "2A" tournament? for that matter the All A events? Not exactly sure on either.

Greg Lukey was a beast in those years, he had academic trouble and im not sure how he fared his senior year.

Congrats Coach Hamilton. Definitely one of the KY baseball All Time Icons. If a coach has half the career as Coach Hamilton they would be a legend.

Congrats coach Krumps. Unbelievable achievement with the parity in the 9th Region. Especially since about 2000

This sounds similar to the last coach they had. Seems like Cooper cant hire a baseball guy who knows much.

Eckerle was the head coach at NCC for a few seasons before probably 3 at the most. Then left for Cov Cath to teach.

Most of this is fairly comical. A guy with 9 Regional titles doesn’t know baseball. He doesn’t use Twitter. Come on man. He has his style and it has obviously worked. It’s not as easy as people think to win the 9th in baseball. The only regions that compare in depth are the 6,7 and 11th regions. Krumps probably has 6-8 Region Runner up trophy’s also. It’s a tough format, one and out for baseball. You can run into a pitcher who is lights out for that one game and get beat. Remember people no one has to go to CCH it’s a choice. There are plenty of other Parochial schools around or Independent Public Schools that parents can send their kids to. Not to mention the District Public school where you live.

Not sure where I said I was hoping this would happen but I’ve been involved in HS Sports for a long time and I know coaches don’t forget this type of score. And eventually what goes around comes around. Check out Highlands football scores the last 2-3 Year’s No one cares how much they beat them by.

I just hope Campbell has a long line of player coming up thru the ranks, if not what goes around will come around. Maybe not with bracken but it will happen.

Not sure why these threads are come out pretty much yearly in Oct(football playoffs) and now. For at least the last 25 years every team in the KHSAA in every sport plays in the post season. I know back in the late 80s football was different, i'm not sure of the year that format changed but ever since, every team has made it. I don't think its going to change

Congrats coach L. Learned a ton from him in class, and working for his business. He's a great guy who I have always looked up to.

In my opinion NKU hasn't recruited enough NKY or Cincy players over the years. There are plenty of players within a 50 mile radius of NKU to make out part of the roster. I am not sure what the number is right now but its not enough

Homestretch, you seem like to parent that coaches would like to have more of, not really meddling in the business of the team and the Head coach. supporting your child. From what I have heard the Cooper baseball parents have been meddling thru two regimes so far. Maybe one of those guys should step up and apply for the job. Step up and put your money where your mouth is.
