The 1st matchup of Boone and Ryle tips off this Friday night. anyone care to start off this thread with their take on this game?

A note to all Ryle anf Boone supporters. Please come out to the game and root on your team. The atmosphere of this game last year At Boone county was electric. Here's hoping the Ryle student body can show up en masse as Boone's always does.

One point game, will go with the home team. Should be a great game to watch. Not often you get to see two D1 heavy weights battling it out.

Boone, only because they are the defending 9th Region Champions and until someone beats them they will have to be the favorite.

Boone in a thriller. Everyone knows Ryle's coach can't beat Nell. Also, who can stop Syd?

Boone county by a 2 to 3 points. Both teams have tons of talent so it will come down to coaching and I think Boone will come out on top!

Will they? Will the weather cause the postponement of the Boone/Holmes game? I'd imagine if it gets cancelled Boone will work like heck to get it scheduled before Friday.

I , of course, am picking my Lady Raiders in a close one. I wish these 2 teams would play once a week. I love watching great games and last year, even though we lost, they were all exciting games. Syd is going to get her points but I believe Ryle has too many weapons for Boone's role players to stop.

Dean is more than capable of coaching the team. The only thing that will change is the sidelines will be quiet with less foot stomping and screaching...and of course, Olivero will be less intimidated.

 

If Ryle can't beat Boone at home without their coach...it will certainly take some of the luster out of the rematch(s).
