3ptshooter Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Not much excitement here. Things will be very exciting tomorrow and hopefully the kids will put on a good show. All starters came out(except two) in the 5th w/the score 11/1 as Holmes scored a run forcing BHS to bat. Nick Hall(frosh) doubles, an out, a walk and Ronnie Koening pinch hits and gets the game winning RBI. Steven Hadden gets the win throwing a real nice game.
BaseballIsLife Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I know Elliot will be on the hill for the Tigers.... whos got the ball for CovCath?
3ptshooter Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 Since the whole team pitched for CCH yesterday, they are all available for the big show down. I heard rumor Bankemper may come back to play the rest of the season????

I can't imagine any coach letting a player who quit the team during the season to come back and play.
Butterfingers Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I would slit my throat before I ever would let someone come back like that. I hope you were just kidding.

cshs81 Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I'm assuming Elliott did not pitch at all this evening.

northernkysportfan Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 3ptshooter, I applaud your ability to spice up this thread.
3ptshooter Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 3ptshooter, I applaud your ability to spice up this thread. Thank you, I said "not much excitement!" Maybe he just needed some more time to heal from his football injury. It's tournament time, win at all cost. Wouldn't it be nice to get a left handed, 85 mile and hr pitcher come tournament time? Just want to get everyone thinking a little.

Wouldn't it be nice to get a left handed, 85 mile and hr pitcher come tournament time? If he truly "quit" and did not simply say "I'm on the DL" then, no, its not win at all cost. I'll go down with the boys that were committed to the team. That's no shot at the young man. Its actually a shot at the HC SHOULD it actually be true.

You have forced anyone that has read this to waste valuable brain capacity with this thought... Never happen...

Wouldn't it be nice to get a left handed, 85 mile and hr pitcher come tournament time? From what I hear, that is not the case at all. I hear it was much more personal than that, but it is all hearsay.
3ptshooter Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 Ladies and gentlemen, loosen your ties and belts and BREATH a little. Enjoy life every now and then. If any of you would believe that after a player quit, and it wasn't the next couple days, allow them to come back then you all need to see a doctor. That would go against all principles of athletics. Tommy is not coming back, as NKSF said, I wanted to juice things up a bit. Tommy is happy as is the baseball team. They have done fine w/out him, although it would be nice to have that left hander in the line up. He quit because he just did not enjoy playing any more, nothing personal towards anyone just wanted out.
