I am with HDE on most issues but especially this one. It is either "All A" or not. Expansion goes against the original idea and the positives brought on by the tourney. The sponsor or some new sponsors should start a 2A or 3A tourney, if that is the desire.

I add my support for bubatruck's post. As a high school assistant and even more as a middle school head coach, I see the fans often confusing passion and support with degrading comments and abuse.

I like offense and would have loved to have seen this game, refs or not.

I believe Bell is this year's 4A champ, so I'm picking Bell.

This just in...Harrison Co. is pretty good this year.

How about Gilliam, Simmons (or Dillon Smith) along with Green in a triple option backfield with Josh Caldwell coming out of retirement for his senior year to play QB...just a thought?

Evarts - my pick) Harlan 3-2 (after a win v. C'land per the question and a win against Jenkins-my pick) Evarts 2-3 (after losses v. C'land and Hazard - my picks) Jenkins 2-3 (after losses to P'ville and Harlan - my picks) P'ville 1-4 (after win over Jenkins - my pick) I think, if this crazy scene plays out, Jenkins is 4 with head to head over Evarts; Evarts would be out; Harlan would be 2 with head to head over Cumberland and Cumberland is 3. Keep in mind, I don't know anything about the tie-breakers and ANY of these games in this district could go the other way...On second thought, HDE is right...it makes my head hurt, too.

No offense to Jenkins, but I'm stunned by the Evarts loss.

Skins seemed to learn lessons from their earlier Lynn Camp stumble...good win. With Evarts upset, C'land clear #2 in their district. With McCreary beating Madison Southern, I like W'burg to rebound against Southern next week.

I am completely on the Evarts bandwagon. If they aren't playing Harlan, I hope they win state. Heck, someone send me a "We believe" shirt and Evarts hat. Perky Bryant and the spirit of Coach Hunter are still alive and well.
