  1. I'd like to see Harlan County draw Knox Central in the first round. I think that would be their best match up.
  2. Final. Black Bears led by as much as 15 during the game, and led by six in the fourth. Antwane Brown from M'boro scored 49 points in the game, 19 of them in the third quarter. Both teams advance to the 13th region tournament.
  3. 62-62 - 3:33 left Brown from M'boro hit two FT's Miller from HC hit one FT.
  4. 60-59 M'boro - 4:15 to go in fourth. Brown hit two free throws for the Jackets.
  5. 58-58 in the fourth. Not sure how much time is left. Black Bears had six point lead, but M'boro has held Harlan County scoreless for a while now.
  6. Final. Kyle Hogue hit a short jump shot to put the Black Bears ahead by one with only five seconds to go. Bell County inbounded the ball, but it was tipped out of bounds with around 0.7 seconds on the clock. Officials questionably placed five seconds back on the clock. Bell County heaved a desperation shot from beyond half court, but missed.
  7. Ahhh, what do you know... I'd say Harlan County will be a major contender in two more seasons.
  8. They definitely have a legit shot to make a run at a state title, but I don't think they will take the crown. I'm thinking more along the lines of Scott Co. or Holmes.
  9. I don't think Corbin will have any trouble in this one. I'm interested to see how these young players perform against the Redhounds. Harlan is prime for a run in a couple of years. Both schools in Harlan County are filled with young talent!
  10. Loyall has produced some good talent, that's for sure. How about Dondi Noah? Could he play?
  11. What all does Estill have returning from last year's successful team?
  12. Crawford had 22 points and really dominated the paint. Johnson had 18 and Josh Smith had 13. Corbin really had no trouble in this one.
  13. He'll probably need an offensive coordinator. Interested?
