I would say Harlan County will have a shot. I think Clay beat them pretty good, but don't count them out!

I like Phipps. I think he does a great job with his teams at Barbourville. I would love to see him win a regional title before he calls it quits.

Any team is beatable, especially if they overlook their opponent. However, I think that if Corbin or South go in with their heads straight, they will take care of business. But, you're right, if Whitley or W'burg are overlooked, there could definitely be an upset!

It is Harlan Independent, but everyone in Harlan calls it "city." I call them "city" all the time! I heard the game wasn't too bad. Also, heard that the Black Bears played pretty poorly. Jecorey Fields was out for Harland Independent, and Dillon Cain was out for the Black Bears.

Here is my question: If we were shooting cold, would we lose this game, or is our defense good enough to still win?

I agree that Crawford is one of the most unselfish players I've seen. It's not that he couldn't take more shots and score a lot of points, he just doesn't choose to do so. If Corbin continues to improve, they can be VERY dangerous!!!

I think it is safe to say that graduation took a toll on Jackson's program this season.

For the record, I've not been a Cawood ball player in a while! That is perhaps the craziest response I've ever heard from a referee!....haha

I'll give you the fact that Saragas isn't the best ref in the world. I really like him as a person, but not so much as a ref. But, he called the technical because that was the second time the player acted out. He should have called it the first time. Also, Lebanion does not lack quickness. He is an athlete. He just doesn't have great defensive technique.

Whitley has played South close in two game this season, but I'm still not sold on the Colonels. I still think they are just a run-of-the-mill team in the 13th. As far as Corbin @ South goes, South is more than capable of beating them, but I don't see it happening either.

After watching South Laurel take it to Knott County Central last month, I'm shocked to see this score. Is Hazard a bit overrated at this point?

When do they regional pairing for the Sweet 16 come out? Or, have they already?

I don't know if Whitley is playing as good as they were earlier in the year, and I think South is playing better. I'd say: South 70 Whitley 54
