Super Bowl XLII: Giants 17 Patriots 14
Boucher replied to Pat Dad's topic in National Football League (NFL)
There must be some history/issues speaking here, because everyone I spoke with agreed it was one of the best, if not the best Super Bowls ever. As for #3 - IMO Belicheck is an arrogant, classless, clown. -

This is downright laughable. -

Corbin 64 North Laurel 42
Boucher replied to the mathemagician's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I don't know if Corbin is the Jekyll and Hyde, I think North Laurel is just struggling right now. This was a very good, competitive game until less than an minute in the half. North Laurel can play some ver bad basketball for long stretches. I thought Crawford still looks a LONG way from contributing in the manner that Corbin is used to. IMO - He and Johnson both had off nights and Corbin still manhandled NL. My "favorite" in the 13th is South Laurel. I think that at the moment, their play is heads and shoulders above the rest of the 13th. -

I heard Somerset's coach Thacker complained worse than Feldhaus regarding officiating at the Hoopin' it Up. Maybe they just got beat as well. -

I really hope that these 2 teams do match up in the first game of the district. It would be a dandy! -
Corbin simply was not ready to play in this one. With the return of Crawford, they also appeared to have no team chemistry at all. They took one bad shot after another, and turned the ball over time and time again. I know it's early, but Corbin is not as good of a team with Crawford back as before he returned. The Johnson kid from Corbin looked like he was on a different planet last night as well. Does Corbin have enough shots to go around? I guess we'll see in a month or so. IMO, the play of SL's Matt Watkins makes them a much better team than earlier in the season. SL looks much more quick and athletic now, than they did earlier. They do look a little shakier taking care of the ball against pressure, but I think overall they are better. As for now, I think they are the best in the 13th.

I don't like him, never have. I don't like how if he makes a simple layup he thumps his chest like Tarzan. Made several decisions last night in the final 3 minutes that really hurt UK's comeback.

I agree. Last night I could not tell who the head coach was. There were 2 coaches who stood and yelled for most of the game. -

I have to admit, this one was much closer than I thought it would be. Congrats to Corbin for the win, and to Jackson County on a good effort. I bet it was a physical one! -

No excuse. He shook Coach Parrott's hand only, then bolted. Should have done what every other coach does, and shake the hand of the opposing team. I stand by my previous comment. IMO, PCC lost a class coach with Al Holland. -
Just because one officiates college games does not make him/her a good official. Trust me, there are poor college officials too, there's even poor professional officials as well. Remember the NBA gambling scandal involving an official last season? As for Ashhurst, I've watched him call at least 100 games- He always wants to be the star. Paducah Tilghman mean anything to you? Ask anyone in Rupp the day that he took their trip to the Sweet 16 finals away from them, and see what they think. Glenn Gray is back at it now. As for Philpot, imo he is much better than the other 2 you mentioned. If you want a legit opinion on the officials in the 13th, ask a visiting out of region team and see what they think.

London. -
NL wins on a Nick Shannon 3 a the buzzer. NL was up by 12 in the first half, but PCC battled back in the third to make it a close one. Interesting fact: NL did not shoot a FT in the second half. Could be the first time I've ever seen that. PCC's coach showed a lack of class by not shaking hands after the game.

I remember it, named for President Jimmy Carter's drunk brother, right? I had a can of it (collection), but never drank it (I must have been 14-15 at the time).

Miller Genuine Draft. I don't know if I got a "bad" batch, or what. I do know I'm not going to give it another chance.
