I think the price was ridiculous, especially for the students. Both NL and SL's student sections were a mere fraction of what they normally are. The promoters should have given students a break off of the $20 admission on Saturday. I spoke with several kids who could not afford to pay $20 to watch their buddies play. Charge the adults what you want, but be fair to the kids, without them we don't have high school basketball.

Ridiculous comparison. NFL teams and NCAA programs don't have to find teaching and/or administration jobs for assistant coaches or coaches wives. In bringing in a qualkity coach, there are several moving pieces that need to be put together.

This is most definately NOT the case. Everybody needs to chill out, NL will have a quality coach very soon.

I disagree 100%. My family loved the trip to Memphis and the Liberty Bowl. Beale Street was amazing, and the stadium was much better than I thought it would be. IMO UK fans outnumbered ECU fans by probably 15-20%. Memphis is one of the funnest cities I've ever visited, and I can't wait to go back.

I'm in Memphis as well, went to BW-3's and didn't see a single UK fan other than my family in the place. i guess we'll see this afternoon.

Down here we're used to it. Congrats to Scott. I loved this team the first time I saw them play. Their coach does an amazing job, that's pretty evident in watching them play just a couple of times.

I'm sorry, I thought I was pretty clear: Scott plays hard. Corbin looks to have chemistry problems. They are talented, and may very well work out these problems in time. I was merely pointing out what I saw.

Man, Scott is a fun team to watch. They play their tails off on both offense and defense. Always moving. I've watched them one time, and have become a fan. Corbin appears to have some chemistry problems, and lacks intensity at times.

I din't see you there. I agree on Stenzel, but disagree on Zollo. The best two players on the floor both wore 21-Stenzel for GRC, and Seidel for NL.

I agree 100%. There's actually been pretty good talent at North Laurel for a while now. North Laurel has an excellent feeder program. Coach Carloftis and his staff do an excellent job at NLMS. I think NL simply needs to find the right coach to get them "over the hump" and get them going in the right direction. I think with the recent pay hike that that the BOE gave the coaches, NL should have some good applicants to choose from. Good Luck to the NL administration in finding the right fit.

About 10 minutes. Turnout was much less than I expected. I went at 9am.

I don't see how the officials handled the penalties after the fight could be correct. The play resulted in a first down, there was a defensive penalty for illegl hands to the face, and 2 dead ball personal fouls. How come the Bengals didn't get either the completed pass play or the defensive foul prior to the ofsetting PF's? It doesn't seem right at all.

I heard him make these comments on the news, and couldn't believe it. He made it sound like he was having a tremendous season, and that his teammates lack of performance was the only thing that cost him his job. This confirms exactly what a couple of my friends that are VERY close to the team told me before the season. They said that no one on the team liked Hartline that he was way too cocky and condescending to his teammates. I'd say he's gone as soon as the semester is over. Good Luck Randall!
