  1. Anybody else surprised Hellbird didn't like the CCH logo?
  2. Exactly. Didn't 70-something kids try out for the freshman team last year?
  3. I don't want to speak for Walter, but he's not alone in the thinking that Neltner was NOT the best player in the 9th region in '03. Certainly he was among the best, but an argument could be made in favor of Doellman & Brock. Regarding the politics: Highlands, to their credit, created a schedule that showcased Ross as a junior & senior. I believe they played eventual state champion Mason County in '03 and may have played in the King of the Bluegrass. They played a schedule that allowed Ross to get exposure throughout the state, while SK did not. It also helped that Neltner played in the state tournament as an underclassman. I wouldn't call it politics, but it certainly didn't happen by accident. And for what it's worth, I think it's a GREAT move.
  4. Check out this old BGP thread for a picture: http://bluegrasspreps.com/ky-boys-basketball/charles-hurts-famous-120484.html
  5. I have no idea, but I hope somebody can provide the answers. I don't know Puck, but this sounds awesome. Let us know when it's finished, I'd be interested in buying a copy of a book (assuming it's published). :thumb:
  6. Anybody have a roster with the colleges these kids are attending?
  7. So what's the scoop? You going to provide us any details, or should we continue with innuendo & speculation?
  8. I assumed so but wasn't sure, thanks.
  9. What is the relationship between John & Grant Brannen?
  10. I think Cov Cath has benefited from playing so many games at BOKC over the years, particularly since it is the site of the 9th region tournament. It is also the same size floor as Rupp, which I think gives them a small advantage in the state tournament. With that said, Covington Catholic's upcoming schedule is going to be pretty strong. They don't need to go to NKU to play another local school in a quasi-showcase in front of a less than capacity crowd. I don't know if Cov Cath has refused to play at the BOKC or not. Quite frankly, I find it hard to believe given the number of games they've played there over the last couple years. But, if so, I'll defer to Ruthsatz & the admin & trust that there is a valid reason for doing so.
  11. I have a really hard time keeping you & UKMF straight.
  12. You should be able to stream the Netflix through the Roku, but I'm not too familiar w/ Roku so I will defer to somebody else.
  13. You should be able to have multiple users on Netflix -- I think you can have up to 3, but that might depend on your subscription/plan. If you have Direct Tv, you need to connect the box to the internet. Go to your settings and it should walk you through the process. You won't be able to stream Netflix to the old TV, but it should offer a couple features that will provide an upgrade.

  15. Does anyone have the attendance numbers for the championship games?
  16. I haven't but looks like a cool spot.
  17. Like it or not, that was perfectly executed.
  18. When it's a "one and done" format, you put your best available pitcher on the hump & all other arms are available in relief. You figure out who starts game #2 when you get there, especially if it's the district finals where you're guaranteed at least one more game.
  19. @Mustang is excited about the possibilities.
  20. If that's true (and I have no idea), I love that Dave is coming back to CCH to teach.
