Was Sherman considered "downfield" or was he within 5 yards? I could understand a penalty for unnecessary roughness, but a 5 game suspension is pretty steep...even considering the player involved.

Chad Wallach was called up to the big leagues. He's the 2nd part of the Mat Latos trade (Desclafani & Wallach in exchange for Latos). Dad was a big leaguer.

Winker went to the DL with hip problems. I really hoped Stephenson, Reed & Garrett would pitch well enough this year to be excited for 2018. It doesn't feel like any of the pitchers, except Castillo, have improved their stock this year.

Aroldis Chapman just gave up a HR to Yonder Alonso in extra innings, Yanks down 2-1.
