I'm struggling to think of any other players. I think Chris Curley (Beechwood, I'll guess '05 or '06) is still in the minor leagues. There are several from Lexington, but that wouldn't qualify (i.e. Ben Revere).

Chris Snopek went to Harrison County -- I don't think I'd consider that NKY but it's 10th region. He played for the White Sox, I think.

Josh Lueke from Scott High School. He would've graduated in '03 or '04. Went to St. Catharine's College in KY, too.

I think they re-did the courts not too long ago, although I doubt there is much space in between the fence & the hoop.

I played in it back in the day and actually reffed there briefly. Does Kevin Bundy still run it? If so, it's a well run league. It's certainly been around a while. I haven't been there in ages, but it (used to be) a legit league. Can't speak to it nowadays.

I don't like the "Covington" and "Catholic", either. Too many people referring to Cov Cath as "Catholic" (as if we are Lex Cath). I'd rather have "Cov Cath" and "Colonels" or just "Colonels" in each endzone. Just my $0.02. The field itself looks great.

Surely you're not going to take it out on the kids on the field, so that leaves you with the coach. I don't foresee many umpires instigating a fight with the coach...at least not on the field (or in the dugout).

As an outsider, no, I do not believe that is ridiculous.

On an unrelated note, that field is AWESOME.

That's about as busch league as it gets on so many levels, starting with the parents in the stands & the coach. The pitcher & catcher too, obviously, but they're not nearly as culpable as the "adults" here. I really wanted that camera to turn to the left as the ump walked to the 3rd base dugout.

I haven't crunched the numbers yet, but I agree that the mother's height plays a huge role. I think the mother's father plays a role, too.

Seems too generic. But, as Habib stated, it could stick around for a while. Admittedly, I don't have the same nostalgia that some others might have for the helmet, so perhaps that's why I don't feel too strongly either way. Let's just get back to winning some football games.
