Clyde
MTGL and I were talking last night about NKY kids who made MLB. He used Larry Leubers as the starting point. How many players since Larry graduated high school have made the bigs? Berger is one. Jason Johnson from Conner is another. Are we missing any? gametime
Chris Hook, but I think he was a few years before Leubers...
nkuclubbaseball19
Don't know when Luebbers was but David Justice. He was born in Cincinnati but went to Cov Latin.

ColonelCrazy
Josh Lueke from Scott High School. He would've graduated in '03 or '04. Went to St. Catharine's College in KY, too.
LCDAWGS19
Nate Jones from Pendleton County (White Sox) Nate was recalled from AAA Charlotte back to the big club about a half hour ago. Glad to see he's made the comeback from TJ surgery.
ColonelCrazy
Chris Snopek went to Harrison County -- I don't think I'd consider that NKY but it's 10th region. He played for the White Sox, I think.
ColonelCrazy
I'm pretty sure Graham Taylor from Dixie (2001?) had a cup of coffee with the Marlins.

ColonelCrazy
I'm struggling to think of any other players. I think Chris Curley (Beechwood, I'll guess '05 or '06) is still in the minor leagues. There are several from Lexington, but that wouldn't qualify (i.e. Ben Revere).
ductigrem
Runion from Boone County, not sure when he graduated. But he played at Duke and triple A ball for quite awhile.
Clyde
Runion from Boone County, not sure when he graduated. But he played at Duke and triple A ball for quite awhile. No MLB. We have lots of minor leaguers. Trying to determine how many "made it."
Allamerican21
Runion from Boone County, not sure when he graduated. But he played at Duke and triple A ball for quite awhile. Runion graduated in 90' from Boone. Played at duke. Then with Cleveland. I believe he played with the ageless one Bartolo Colon for a yr or 2 in AA and AAA. Great guy from a great family but like clyde said, he didn't get to the show.
