Ahhh yes, the timeless BGP debate. You're going to upset the Pendleton County fans (Nate Jones).

Scott Wiggins (NCC and NKU)

3 games counts. On the list.

....and Chris Hook has lived on my route for 18 years, see him about once a week. Good dude.

1 pitch would count for me! LOL I think to myself, "this dude played in the major leagues", EVERY SINGLE TIME I see and talk to him.

Few possible names:

Jack Johnson - Dixie??? Know he played minors just not sure he made it to mlb

Luke Maile - CCH (in due time) have not heard anything about him lately.

Glazer - highlands??

No MLB to all three of the above. I think Maile is going to make it some day.

Todd Benzinger was born in Dayton KY. Went to New Richmond HS though.

Maile is in AAA with The Durham Bulls.

Don't want to spoil the scavenger hunt, but here is a list of every MLB player born in Kentucky:

Major League Baseball Players Born in Kentucky

Can't believe nobody mentioned Jim Bunning

And since Pendleton County isn't NKY, I won't even mention those guys from Bracken County on the list.

Did you miss the "since Larry Luebbers" part?

Thought you meant OLD Larry Leubbers... Yeah that's it.

Tidbit on Luebbers. He threw for St Henry back in 88' and I remember he could bring the gas. We actually beat him at the Bellevue Vets my Jr yr, his Sr. 4-1 and Nick Berkley outdueled him. I also remember when he made his MLB debut for the Reds. I was in Hilton Head on vacation and he threw against the Cubs in a day game at Wrigley. I remember watching it on WGN.
