  1. Interesting -- do you have a link, @bballfamily?
  2. Safe to assume the wind is blowing out at Wrigley today? Holy smokes...
  3. Last 20 games for Votto (coming into tonight): .435 AVG, 5 HR, 14 RBI, .611 OBP%
  4. Unreal, Votto is in the on deck circle & will lead off the top of the 10th, if we get that far.
  5. Duvall goes deep, 2 run homer to tie the game in the 8th.
  6. Votto made the last out in the 7th. He may not get another at bat, unfortunately. He's currently 1-4 and the streak is in serious jeopardy.
  7. Let's face it: all drugs are not created equal. It's been eons since I've since I've been a part of a DARE Program, but as I recall it does not distinguish between alcohol, marijuana, and other "hard" drugs (i.e. cocaine, heroin, LSD, etc.) At some point, almost all of the kids will be in a situation where alcohol and/or marijuana is involved. Less will be faced with a situation involving cocaine, heroin, etc. If it doesn't already, the program needs to differentiate between the drugs.
  8. Ted Williams, Pete Rose & Barry Bonds are the other 3 to get 20+ games.
  9. Agree with you 100%. Dalton is a solid QB and I think he could have a big year. He's a much better option than McCarron, as well as most other QB's in the league.
  10. Obviously losing Mosier hurts, but Landon Young was very highly touted coming out of high school & played a lot last year as a true frosh. I think he'll be fine.
  11. I hope the Bengals get blitzed a lot. Their biggest (only?) question mark is the offensive line. I'm not as worried as others, but recognize that most of the starters on the o-line are not proven. Whether you like him or not, Dalton is a veteran QB at this point his career with a lot of weapons. Surely he'll be able to predict the blitz & get rid of the ball quickly, which generally isn't a problem for him. If he can get the ball out to the talented skill players in one on one coverage, I think the Bengals' offense is explosive enough & they win a lot of games.
  12. And nowadays the pharmaceutical industry is the biggest roadblock.
  13. I read that he bought the car in Florence but didn't realize he went to Cooper.
  14. Indians trade right handed pitcher Ryder Ryan to the Mets.
  15. I have direct tv and it has been great for us. We have the SEC Network and Big 10 Network if you're into that type of thing. I don't bundle internet but probably should. If you go the Direct TV route, I can PM you my account info and you can list me as your referral...and we will both save $10 per month for 10 months.
  16. It depends on where you're coming from / going to, I guess. Back roads for my daily commute are actually worse, because the traffic is congested and the backroads are not capable of handling an increased workload.
  17. What does the Bengals front 4 look like? Is it still Dunlap & Johnson on the end, with Geno & Billings in the middle? Am I crazy to think their front 4 could be very good?
  18. Stephenson injured his shoulder diving for a ball. Would love to hear you explain how the organization is to blame for that. Reds' Robert Stephenson: Ticketed for DL with shoulder issue - CBSSports.com
  19. I've read one study that did conclude that the number of drivers testing positive for marijuana had increased over the last couple years. Of course, you can smoke marijuana on June 1st, get in a wreck on June 10th and still test positive for it because it stays in your system for roughly 30 days even though it did not contribute to the accident or impair the driver. Also, the study noted that marijuana was not regularly tested until recently so there was not much of a baseline to compare to.
  20. Does Mahle have good stuff? He has had some outstanding performances.
