I know more and more teams are trying to schedule quality opponents outside of region play. What teams across the state have the toughest out of region schedules?

Hopkinsville plays Bowling Green, they play at PRP in the panther classic, at Christ Presbyterian in the next level hoop fest, at Taylor county, at Owensboro and they play Wayne county at Pulaski Southwestern

Clay county plays Ballard, perry central, Lexington catholic, Boyle county, Franklin Simpson and they play in a tournament in Las Vegas

Dunbar plays Taylor County, Louisville Central, King of the Bluegrass, New Albany, Madison Academy Alabama, and Fayette County Georgia.

Louisville St. X

Wilmington Ohio

Suncoast Holiday Classic in Sarasota, FL immediately after Christmas

Taylor County @ Muhlenburg County

Cincinnati Moeller

Winton Woods @ Winton Woods

Simply said....nuts! At least, unlike football, the hoops team can handle this schedule.

Louisville Central Out of Region Schedule:

@ Covington Catholic

Taylor County twice (KOB 1st round and @ clem haskins classic)

@ East Chicago Central, IN - top 10 team IN

@ Gary Roosevelt, IN - top 25 team IN

@ Fairdale

Dunbar in Lexington for Jock Sutherland

@ Doss

@ Fern Creek

Butler

You add that with the 7th region gauntlet (trinity, st. x, male, ballard, waggener, eastern, etc.). One of toughest schedules in the state by far. Scrimmaged Hop-town and lafayette. Will have played the majority of teams in the top 15 in ky by tournament time

Trinity out of region schedule:

Jeffersonville, IN -- away

Covington Catholic --away

Bardstown --home

Owen County--at Fairdale (King of Bluegrass--???)

Lexington Holiday Tournament

Apollo --at Muhlenburg County

Louisville Invitation Tournament (6th and 7th Regions)

Oldham County --home

Henry Clay --home

Madison Central --away

Elizabethtown --away

Lafayette --home

Owensboro --away

DeSales --home

Bardstown plays in 8 different tournaments/showcase events throughout the season, as well as their H-and-H series with Trinity and Bullitt East. They also have North Bullitt out-of-region.
