Ben Weyer with 3 dunks, one on a breakaway steal at midcourt, one off a Brennen Hall miss (NASTY!!!), and the other on a turnaround move that was SWEET!. Almost had a 4th on an alley-oop from Hall, but went off the back flange....had it gone down it would have been impressive.

 

Brennen Hall looked like Zach Pangallo, pull=-up jumpers and great drives to the basket.

 

Brain Anderson with some great penetration for baskets.

 

Luke Moeves shooting tonight was reminiscent of his older brothers Tanner & Grant.

 

The Breds full-court pressure caused umteen turnovers, it was like Nolan Richardson's "40 minutes of Hell".

Hall and Weyer are just really dominant. Get the feeling they will need one more really dominant player to match up with the top teams. They have a lot of really good fundamentally sound players and all were getting after it on defense. And depth wise they might be okay when football ends but if one more player develops they could be really good.

I was waiting on this question.. The only thing I can think is too get them ready for Sat game against Lexington Christian. When you have a fairly young atheltic team as NCC can use that as an opportunity to practice.. But it's a fair question.. Dayton was very impressive.. Great attitudes some new faces and they was scrappy the entire game. Good Luck to the Devils this season could be the best year in along time.
