Does this bring into question if this is parent only banter or has made it down to the players. Knowing that the kids read this, I have to agree that talking only about your kid or attempting to not compare/compare him to another player doesn't help anyone.

 

I think this will make the District tournament interesting if the turmoil bleeds over into the team. Could be a wildcat year??

I'm not Trashing At All.. Never said he wasn't good always said he was a great player but let's remember Hall put in work of he was compared to him then it was Bc He is playing at that level which is a Major compliment so on that note.. Let's remember nothing from me was said until the first comment was made.. So if you feel like its trashing on my part I felt like it was Trashing on their part.. And what does his family history have to do with anything..and yes let's give Credit where it's due Hall and the rest of the team played an awesome game.. Nobody asked to have a run down of the history of a player that is playing in a D3 college and had a great career at NCC.. I believe this is a new season..

Why not? With NCC and Newport having very good teams why should HHS bother to take the floor. I know a group of Juniors that have yet to lose to NCC. Just an interesting tid bit.

As frosh 2 years ago the group put the only blemish on NCC frosh that year. Last year they won the JV game against a good team with Hall and group playing. Varsity it hasn't been tight the last few years but the tide is changing. Are they their yet time will tell.

All in all it actually sounds like Dayton was fairly competitive for a DIII school vs a regional contender. Do the Devils have the horses to make a run in DIII this year?

Not sure how it couldn't have made it down to the parents, the chatter comes from the front row loud and often....

I really like Dayton's coach. He is trying very hard to build a program from the ground up. They may never be regional contenders but he is working hard to do things the right way.

 

Should have at least given the dude some props. Billy Rogg is Dayton's head coach.

At the risk of falling prey to a potential EDITED post I will reply. Actually, Dayton does have some talent, a nice PG, a couple nice shooting guards, and 2/3 combo guy who is forced to play inside mostly. But as previously stated, they lack depth and size. There tallest player, about 6 5 or 6, is a pure project, having not played basketball since grade school. They have alot of winnable games on the schedule.

Against NC, they actually had a chance to get it under 20 at half, but turned it over and gave up a 3 near the buzzer. Not that the ever really had a chance, but it would have been nice to have been a little closer.
