Let's see, it's in the boys basketball forum and he lives in NKY. Only open jobs in the vicinity would be Nicholas County and Trimble County. Not seeing either of those.

My guess is he joined the staff at Holy Cross where is son will be a senior this year. What do I get for guessing correctly?

From what I was told from a former co worker. It is a head coaching job and that that job had not been posted. My question is do they have to post head coaches positions? This person indicated it would be announced in the next few days.

It depends on the district's policy since these are extra duty positions. However, ALL personnel changes need to be reported to the school board each month, regardless if they are certified, classified, or extra duty.

Omegaman, I respect what you are trying to do in protecting that current head coach, but the result is that a lot of head coaches are now going to be speculated upon.

 

I'll pull the trigger for you. Rumor I heard a month or so ago from sources that are NOT close to the situation told me that it was Holy Cross and he would be upheaving Ryan Schrand. I didn't believe it then. I won't believe it now until I receive some substantiated evidence.

 

Unless there is a new rumor going around, I assume you and I heard the same one.
