Omegaman, I respect what you are trying to do in protecting that current head coach, but the result is that a lot of head coaches are now going to be speculated upon.

 

I'll pull the trigger for you. Rumor I heard a month or so ago from sources that are NOT close to the situation told me that it was Holy Cross and he would be upheaving Ryan Schrand. I didn't believe it then. I won't believe it now until I receive some substantiated evidence.

 

Unless there is a new rumor going around, I assume you and I heard the same one.

 

If it turns out to be Holy Cross here is my take.

 

I feel really bad for Coach Schrand.

 

Bez coaching his son at his alma mater would be a major highlight in his life, but the problem is CovCath & Holmes are in that district and I don't see HC making it out of it in the foreseeable future.

This has been one bizarre thread. We have people totally speculating stuff with not much or anything to go on and others saying if true, Bezold is not acting right. Then we hear that none of it is true in the first place...ugh...

Beez coached Schrand at NKU and was one of his biggest supporters in getting the HC job. This has already been shot down I guess, but there is almost no way anything like that could have happened.

Heard former NKU coach Bezold landed a new job? Has anyone else heard this? And by the way, I posted it in this forum for a reason.

 

From what I was told from a former co worker. It is a head coaching job and that that job had not been posted. My question is do they have to post head coaches positions? This person indicated it would be announced in the next few days.

 

Sorry, hate to not list it, but in respect to a person he may be replacing I would not want them to see their name on here first. I thought for sure someone else may have heard about it if I did.

I've heard he's been offered a job at a school in the area, but not as a coach. I would guess if he coaches anywhere in NKY it would be helping HC. What an addition he would be for them too if he wanted to go that route.
