Holmes has two open positions with Coach Reinhardt no longer there and Ricardo Johnson accepting the JUCO assistant position in Texas....one of the reasons why I assumed Holmes could be where he ends up if he was deciding to get back in to coaching.

if you're going to coach HS and don't mind the constant roster questions, no place better to be than Holmes. Surely Coach L doesn't want to coach forever.

I think Bezold will be a part time coach helping out I know he wants to watch his son play this year.

As for the thread....I'm told Coach Bezold is teaching at Holmes this year but no decision has been made on whether or not he will coach. As stated multiple times, he wants to be able to watch Tyler play this year. Unless the family decides to send Tyler to Holmes (highly unlikely, IMO), my guess is Bezold maybe has some involvement with the program but isn't a regular on the bench during Holmes games.

 

Assuming he wants to get back in to coaching, it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up replacing Coach L, whenever he decides to step down.

As much as I hate to say it, Beez is not coming down here... Would love to see this happen, but I do not see him leaving the Covington area.

I don't think there are a lot of head coaching jobs at colleges in the area. I don't doubt he takes a year or two to watch his son play ball. I'm assuming a Head coach spot at a college would require relocation.

He is also very close to retirement in the KY state employee system. It's big reason why becoming a teacher short-term makes sense.
