Probably no worse a deal than Jack Eicher got in Ft. Thomas...

Summit Country Day (OH) just hired Dave Wirth as their new head football coach. He was on the Moeller coaching staff this past season.

    Congrats Coach Wirth!

Where will he coach next year?

Boone County?

....

Maybe he'll take a year off to be a BGP analyst, end up liking it so much, he forgoes coaching in the future and remains an analyst.

Are you saying he's the next Seth Greenberg?

Then what will we do with UK#1?

Nah, too qualified as he's actually coached a high school game.

Well, for now, he's doing what he does best -- applying for jobs :idunno:

Coach Wirth is joining former Cov Cath assistant coach Tony Acito at Mount St. Joseph.

I think Dave can really do well in college. He can be an ace recruiter and I mean that 100 % as a compliment.

Dave Wirth will be, from what I've been told, co-offensive and special teams coordinator, WR coach, and I'm assuming recruiting GCL and NKY.

Biggest news is he will be returning next year at CovCath to remain a teacher. Good for him and his family.

I believe he will be joining former Campbell Co head coach Troy Stiers. Coach Stiers will be a line coach.

If that's true (and I have no idea), I love that Dave is coming back to CCH to teach.

Had 3 friends confirm it this morning. He will remain a teacher at CCH and coach at the Mount. Great news
