  1. Went to the NCC/St.Henry game last night and noticed the NCC coaches (3rd base coach) yell out number combos when they have runners on base (35-2 or 23-4). Not sure if all the players have wrist bandage/codes like a quarterback wears. Is this something new? Other teams do this? Am I just getting old and like the "tip the hat, touch the chin, touch the sleeve, bach to the nose"? Any professionals do this?
  2. This pic was on facebook. Very nice service at the funeral today. SRO at the church.
  3. Just a shocking loss in a horrible accident. Callen had a large impact on many of the kids who play(ed) sports in NKY. From Ryle to Walton, Cooper, NCC and many others. He gave a lot of his time to kids and helped both boys and girls be better players. When talking with him, you had no doubt how much he cared about his family.
  4. Greenup County They should be able to help you out with what will work best in your area.

  8. Hear this all the time. "6 and a 1/2 of one or a dozen of the other."
  9. Can someone list the college the players will be attending. Thanks
  10. Bought a Lodge cast iron wok about 4 months ago and use it at least once a week. I like the cast Iron on the gas stove.
  11. Through first 2 games of senior year state tournament I know its a reach, but compare. fg 24-45 3pt 5-8 15-16 ft 68 pts 12 rebs 8 assists (mystery person) fg 24/48 3pt 11-19 14-16 ft 73 pts 27 rebs 8 asssits (Jake Ohmer)
  12. You can use this link for rosters/stats/play by play 2
  13. I don't follow the 10th region as close as the 9th, but keep up with it a bit. Scott only having 1 player in the top 18 while other teams had 3 or 4 says a lot about Scott playing great as a team (and how good Ohmer is).
  14. Sports are an extracurricular activity. It is not part of the "schooling". If I pay taxes for a school then they should be able to participate. Now if you are telling me that $0 of my tax dollars go to paying a coach or building a gym for extracurricular activities then they shouldn't be able to play.
  15. Girls will be boys and boys will be girls It's a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for Lola
  16. Trinity in 2012 or so when they won state? (and since they just lost tonight )
  17. Hate it that the season and high school careers of these Crusaders comes to a close. But, in the end, there is only 1 team that ends the season with a win. St.Henry had nothing to be ashamed of. They played a competitive/strong game. Best of luck to Lloyd going forward. Enjoy the regional experience and win a few more.
