Its funny how people see things from different angles. TAC thought nothing of it. Oldercoach thought it was semi/mostly as I described. I thought it was a clear violation. Brackengrad95 didn't think it was. I'm sure there is video out there somewhere to clear this up (even though I know I am right). It's all in good fun. Augusta was the better team last night and deserved the win.

Really enjoyed this game tonight. Augusta fans are so lucky to have such a great little gym. Ton of character. I'm sure I didn't appreciate it as much when I had a chance to play there. The band on the stage was great. Augusta made plays tonight when they needed to. Thought Brossart gave up to many layups. Don't know what the T on Snapp was for? It was below us as we were on the balcony. It was after a dead ball. Language? No doubt some missed calls both ways. One big one that would of really helped Brossart was late in the game, Brossart was pressuring the ball (Maddux) and knocked the ball off his leg into the backcourt where Maddux picked it up. Thought this was an over and back. I could be wrong. Congrats to Augusta on the win. And for any of you fans of the game…get to a game at Augusta and enjoy.

It will not be a sell out. Parking may be an issue but you could really get there at any time. Get there at 6:30 and you will have no problem getting a good parking spot and be able to take your pick of seats.

Something I see all the time is: Shooting foul shots and the defensive player is on the low block, the offensive player on the next block up pretty much "bull rushes"/ pushes the low block player under the basket. I've seen it every single game. Made and missed foul shots. Is this not a foul? The low block player is trying to hold their ground and just gets drilled.

NewCath was just better than St.Henry. And there is nothing wrong with that as they have a really good team. Especially when they hit their outside shots. Should be a great game with Holy Cross on a neutral floor. Maley played well for St.Henry again. He has improved quite a bit the last 6 games or so. Congrats to Adam Goetz for St.Henry on scoring his 1,000 point. (not sure who the last 1000 point scorer was?). Finally…hats off to the custodian/janitor at Lloyd. Guy works non stop. Lloyd has done a great job hosting the all A.

Walton has a good thing going on. I'm really happy for them now and in the future. McQueery for Boone has done nothing but an excellent job. The numbers are a little down right now but him and Downs (JV coach) put the kids in position to win and they are not that far off.

Didn't see the news, but that was a bad play by Newport (think it was Hollis that didn't go after the ball and it was a bad pass out to him) and a heads up play by Bezold.

Sorry, took the night off. It's so hard to watch and enjoy a game when taking pictures. Makes me appreciate @paNDA and @StXBomber88 who give so much of their time for our (and the kids) enjoyment.

I made it up to this game tonight and a few observations. Holy Cross played a nice game but Newport made them work for the W. Bezold is a basketball player, kid makes plays and enjoyed watching him play. Barnes is a load inside. A really strong player (I'd hate to get run over by him). He ran down a runout by Hollis? and looked like a clean block (at least from where I was sitting 70 feet away) heck of an athletic play. Thought Scott did a good job guarding Snapp most of the night. Thought Newport ran more of an offense than I've seen in years. Good motion. I thought they played as a team and didn't see this selfish play that was described in previous posts. Mullins is crazy athletic. He swatted a breakaway layup by N.Schrand that was beautiful. Congratulations on the win by the Indians. Newport will not be an easy out for anyone.

Goetz with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 5, steals, and 7 assists He will be a nice player in college (D3 or right situation D2).

Pretty even teams. Wallenhorst didn't start for St.Henry after missing yesterdays game. Didn't get in much of a flow until late and hit a few big shots. Goetz was the best player on the court. Kid scores, rebounds and makes some nice passes. Maley hit a few big shots in the 4th. Beechum gave a nice spark when St.Henry was down 10 or so. Played some good D and got the Crusaders into transition some. Beechwood has a nice team. Have a little size and can shoot the ball from deep. Thought there was a score error. St Henry was down 50-49 and made a 2 to make it 51-50 St.Henry. Then made a 3 and score should of been 54-50. Scoreboard showed 53-50 and never was changed. It was definitely a 3. Might of made a big difference at the end. Game could of went either way.
