McGuire has been out last few games for Newport. If he plays I like their chances.

I would imagine that since the Boone County Board of Ed gave Conner the green light to begin their own fundraising efforts for a turf field that Cooper and Boone are also. Should be no stopping any of the schools from proceeding.

Congratulations to all on the list. Looks pretty accurate. I'm sure people will argue a place here or there, but overall looks good.

Nice meeting (again) @Baseballnut24. I thought the Crusaders played a little harder than Holy Cross. St.Henry had good games by Maley, Becker, and McArtor. I don't think there is much talent difference between the 2 teams. Seeing the Indians for the first time last night, I would of thought they would try to feed the post more. Good luck to the Indians in the district. Should be a huge crowd for the battle with Beechwood next week.

Is Hemmerich leading the region in scoring? If not, he has to be close. Nice player that should have options at the next level.

Will be watching this one live, so will not get to listen. I think this is St.Henry's 5th senior night game (including our own) that they have been part of. I enjoy seeing how each school honors their seniors. Time flies.

At basketball senior night in his intro/plans I'm about positive it was announced he was looking at UK/UC/UL.

Thanks for the weekly updates @Walter. So how are the districts playing out? 33rd Cooper vs Boone/Heritage and Ryle vs Conner (Location?) 34th Dixie vs Villa/Ludlow and Lloyd vs St.Henry (Location? Lloyd?) 35th CCH vs 4 and 2 vs 3 Big game saturday to determine this. (Location) 36th NCC vs Bellvue/Dayton and Highlands vs Newport (Location) should be some interesting 2-3 matchups for a trip to regional.

St.Henry JV win 63-48. Senior night festivities just wrapped up. Probably won't be many updates as I'm having a hard time seeing my phone in here, it's so dark.

Senior night for Cooper. St Henry took an early 2 point lead and then Cooper hit a bazillion in a row. Both McNeils looked strong coming back from injury. Congrats to Cooper on the win and best of luck going forward.

Didn't it happen last week when Crawford at Bracken Co. played at Scott (Ohmer)? Probably hasn't happened very often if it is just Boone,Kenton, and Campbell schools.

St.Henry beat Lloyd the other week and beat Holmes today by 4.

Congratulations to Newport on the win. St Henry shot horrid in the first half (I think they were 5 for 25) and not all bad shots. Fell behind 33-14 at the half. Newport was in control. Crusaders cut it to 2 with about 2 and a half minutes left in the game but could never get over the hump. First time for me seeing Burries (sp?). Nice lefty player who was under control. Probably scored in the low 20's tonight. Newport in general played more under control than I've seen them in the last half dozen years. They have some skilled players on the perimiter. Maley scores close to 20 again for St.Henry.
