Congratulations to Conner on the win. To many turnovers in the second half for St.Henry. Some due to Conners defense, many unforced. Hemmerich played a heck of a game for the Cougars. He was money all night. Connley with a nice game. #30 with a big 1 and 1 when Conner was up by one late in the game. A solid team win. Hate this time of year and love it at the same time. St.Henry says good bye to 4 really good kids (Goetz,Wallenhorst,Hannon and Williams). Goetz did nothing but solidify himself as one of the very best in the region. Kid can play and should do well at the next level. Some college coach (d2) would do well to offer the kid. Good luck to Conner in your game Sunday.

2008 was the last year the 9th region was held at a high school. The Boys were at Conner and girls were at Ryle. The amount shared by participating teams was: Boys $30,000 and Girls $10,000. 2014 is the last listing on the KHSAA site and it has a combined boys and girls of $72,000 to participating schools.

I'd imagine the draw is at 9 on Sunday morning.

Congratulations to the Colonels on the win. St.Henry had no answer to Bradfield? (24) on the inside. He got great position all night long. Dixie killed the Crusaders on offensive rebounding. Meyer for Dixie was strong going to the basket. Goetz probably had 30 for St.Henry. Wallenhorst probably didn't play half the game due to foul problems. Played nice when he was in but had some bad fouls. Need him to stay on the court. All tournament was: Meyer mvp (Dixie) Bradfield (Dixie) Plitzuweit (Dixie) Goetz (St.H) Wallenhorst (St.H) Schutzman (Villa) Donovan (Lloyd) I didn't hear who from Ludlow…sorry.

Hanover has probably been recruiting him the hardest. Coach was there last night for what seems like the umpteenth time this year. I've heard Mt.St.Joe and maybe St.Catherine? Its all about finding the right fit and who you know to some degree. If Snapp(Urbana) and Frederick(Bellarmine) can play D2 then Goetz surely can also. I don't think Thomas More has showed any interest (which is surprising coming from a Catholic school to the local Catholic college). He will play somewhere and be an asset for whichever school he attends.
