Could a mod insert -(34th District Semifinals) - into the title thread?

Thanks.

St.Henry played a solid game. Lloyd's backcourt pressure that bothered the Crusaders in their first meeting didn't materialize tonight.

Goetz with another big night. He does so much for St.Henry. Wallenhorst with an efficient night. Berling played well in the first half and Maley hit a couple big 3's.

For Lloyd, it's hard seeing kids play their last game. Donovan played well with a lot of assists finding Juett for some easy layups. Hamilton didn't start and don't remember him getting a shot off when he was in. Played very little in the second half. Lloyd played hard and have some nice shooters. They should be pretty good next year.

Hamilton is there best player, he scored 20 against the Cru in the first meeting. I never did hear what happened to Townsend, he was a 2 year starter and has not been on the team since the LIT.

Goetz has had a nice career, I have enjoyed watching him play.

Hamilton didn't start, checked in for a couple minutes and spent a while with the trainer looking at a lower leg injury as soon as he came out. He tried to play through it a couple times after that, but wasn't moving well and spent almost all of the 2nd half watching from the bench. Rough to end your season with the best player on the team limited, but Lloyd had a lot of fight and didn't go away easy.

Goetz was really impressive for the Cru. Has a natural feel for time and space and knew when to dish and when to look for his shot.

Should be an interesting final on Friday with Dixie...

Goetz with 25, 6, and 6

Wallenhorst with 13 and 5, Maley with 14

is goetz getting any college looks?

Hanover has probably been recruiting him the hardest. Coach was there last night for what seems like the umpteenth time this year. I've heard Mt.St.Joe and maybe St.Catherine? Its all about finding the right fit and who you know to some degree. If Snapp(Urbana) and Frederick(Bellarmine) can play D2 then Goetz surely can also. I don't think Thomas More has showed any interest (which is surprising coming from a Catholic school to the local Catholic college). He will play somewhere and be an asset for whichever school he attends.

i agree that he could play D2. Whoever gets him gets a great player.
