    8th grader Mason Rusch had a great game. The speedy point guard came in late in the first to spark the Cougars. He continued to find the open man and knock down big shots.The Wade and Riley duo had a hard time finding the bottom of the net in the first half as they seemed to be a bit out of sink. Silver Grove played hard but their inexperienced lineup turned the ball over too much in the second half.

    The kid is a rebounding monster. They play a tough schedule and have loss some close games but this kid is the real deal. Ben Weyer would be a great choice as well. I've only had a chance to watch mostly tenth and ninth region basketball so I'm not sure about the rest of the state.

    Stats for Calvary Akeem Riley connected for 37 pts and Justin Wade finished with 34. Most of Wade's 34 came in the 2nd half. Wade continued to drive to the basketball and get to the line alot. Riley got hot late in the 4th as he knocked down a couple 3's and scored Calvary's last 10 points of the game to keep the game close.

    Sliver Grove led at the end of the first but their smaller lineup couldn't stop the Cougars as they attacked the paint. Silver Grove's number 14 can really pass the basketball. He is a soild player. The Big Trains played hard tonight. Calvary Christian Justin Wade 22pts Akeem Riley 20pts Mason Rusch 7 pts and 5 assist (8thgrader )
